Hey guys! Carrie Danger here and I’m the new evening host for 107.3 Alternative Cleveland.
My broadcasting journey started in 2010 in Lima, Ohio as a morning tech extraordinaire. In 2011 I was granted the opportunity to host the afternoon drive show on 95.3 WLKR in Norwalk, Ohio. For 6 years I was privileged to bring music, information, and smiles to the locals of the Firelands.
After an adventurous few years in North Carolina, I decided to move back to the Northeast Ohio and was welcomed back in at Elyria-Lorain Broadcast Company as board operator and weekend show host. During this time I also hosted “Carrie-Okee” at the local pub!
Fast forward, I find myself excited to bring you the latest in Alternative music and events around our community.
In my down time you can find me reading, hanging with my two awesome cats, and of course listening to music while doing yard work.
Tonight in the Danger Zone we will hear The Regrettes cover of Robyn's 2010 hit single 'Dancing on My Own'. After listening to the original and the cover it's safe to say the band did the song justice. Today I had the pleasure of driving 3 hours round trip to my previous town, Norwalk, Ohio. You may be thinking... where the hell is Norwalk? It's on the way to Cedar Point and Kalahari. As many of you know John Mayer played a Solo & Acoustic show at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on Saturday night and I had the pleasure of going to see him sing to the hearts of so many. NEW MUSIC releases today! Depeche Mode is back with their 15th studio album 'Momento Mori', you have already heard their single "Ghosts Again" I was able to debut in the Danger Zone. The band will be at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse Friday November 10th. Kevin Parker aka Tame Impala has gotten into the movie business, reworking Elvis Presley's "Edge of Reality" for the recent Elvis biopic and contributing to "Turn up The Sunshine" with Diana Ross for Minions: The Rise of Gru. As we get to another holiday focused on drinking, I am more aware of my age than ever! Going out for St. Patty's Day doesn't sound appealing anymore.
