Carrie Danger

kathyVogel squareCarrie Danger is working on becoming a radio veteran one day, with over a decade in the business, it’s still a genuine passion you can hear through your speakers.

Her love for the craft started from a young age, listening to music and the local radio shows in her hometown of Clarksville, TN. Through the years, that fire has only grown with the magic of music and comradery on your daily commute or whatever activity you enjoy the radio to.

Tune in on your drive home weekdays 2-7pm and check out the Danger Zone weekdays at 6pm for the latest, from bands you know and love and some you might not have heard of.

Hey guys! I had the pleasure of sitting down with Gooseberry! This band is awesome to listen to and to talk to! This trio is down to earth and I do believe we could be friends in the outside world! I highly suggest you take a listen to their music and I hope you enjoy the interview! I'll post a few of my favorite songs. Panic!, Orbit, Amaretto (was featured in the DZ). As always, take care of yourself! Love, Carrie Danger  Cdanger · Gooseberry w/ Carrie Danger 081923

Hooked Like Helen w/ Carrie Danger

Written by
Hey guys! I am soooo excited to share an amazing interview I did with Ohio natives, Hooked Like Helen!  From their bio: Hooked Like Helen began as the musical brainstorms of husband-and-wife, Jon and Nikki Stipp. Quickly they started gaining placements on MTV and Netflix and taking home awards from established Independent Music competitions such as the Josie Music Awards, International Songwriting Competition, and Unsigned Only. After several years of Cedar Point residencies, Hooked Like Helen developed a reputation for one of the most energetic, awe-inspiring live shows you will ever see. Now I think it's important to mention that…
Hello everyone!  We are going to pick back up on my Wellness Month discussion. In my last post we talked about routines, after my last therapy session I asked my amazing therapist what would be a good next topic and since I deal with setting and keeping boundaries it felt like the right move.   So as we dive in, I believe speaking from my own personal experience is the best way to go about this.  First off, what are healthy boundaries? According to the website scienceofpeople.com “Healthy boundaries are the limits you place around your time, emotions, body, and mental…

Band of Horses & Revivalists w/ Carrie Danger

Written by
Happy Monday to you all! Last night I was able to attend The Revivalists w/ Band of Horses and The Heavy Heavy at Jacobs Pavilion.  The energy was incredible from the start considering the show was delayed due to a downpour. *note to self, don’t wear a long dress if it might possibly rain*  So the night kicked off with The Heavy Heavy, a UK based band that really brings a sense of nostalgia to the stage. They made me feel like I was in a late 60’s early 70’s indie film, it was great. It was also really great to…
Hello everyone!  If you didn’t know, August is National Wellness Month AND we kick off the month with a Full Super Moon known as the Sturgeon Moon. In addition to the month beginning with a Super Moon, we will (almost) close on another Super Moon known as the Blue Moon on August 30th.  To learn more about Super Moons, you can check out this article here.  As you know, I talk about self-care and routines often. So this month I will be doing a 4 part series on the topic.  About National Wellness Month was created by Live Love Spa,…
Hello all! Today is International Self-Care Day and of course you know I’m going to talk about it! Let’s dive in. What is self-care? According to Oxford it’s “the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one’s own health and the practice of taking an active role in protecting one’s own well-being and happiness, in particular during periods of stress.”  Now I have been actively practicing self-care for almost a year now, really focusing on healing and being the best version of myself for myself. However, I didn’t realize there are “7 pillars of self-care” so let me share them…

Dirty Heads w/ Carrie Danger

Written by
Hey folks!  As you know the Dirty Heads played at Jacobs Pavilion on Monday night and it was a great show!  We started the day with the exclusive sound check experience where we actually got to go up and get a photo with the Dirty Heads, super nice dudes!  Alyssa and I had fun meeting everyone who stopped over to our booth to play a little plinko to win some merch. All the tie dye was incredible AND seeing all the 107.3 tie dye shirts really brought huge smiles to our faces!  Starting things off was Ohio band Tropidelic, this…
Hello there!  Today I was able to get lunch with my grandparents and let me tell you… again I am so lucky to have two sets of grandparents at the age of 34!  So my Grandpa Robert, Grandma Peggy Dawn and I stopped out to Sunrise Social in Green and as always it was delicious.  I wanted to highlight this visit because 1. They live in Florida so our visits are rare and 2. I have learned so much from them over the years.  The biggest lesson I have learned is “Don’t Take It Personally”. It’s #2 of the Four…
Hello there!  As many of you know, Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA) dropped their latest 8th studio album “In Times New Roman…” on Friday June 16th. Now as a loyal fan, of course I listened 3 times over while performing various activities.  I dig it, all of it. From start to finish this album is 47 minutes 37 seconds and very in your face and VERY QOTSA. In an interview Josh Homme says he wanted this album to sound brutal. According to Josh, it’s all about risk.  The lead track is called “Obscenery” and it’s right to the point…

The Cure w/ Carrie Danger

Written by
Hey everyone! Back at it from another wild weekend and it was a great one to say the least.  The Cure came to Blossom Music Center and so did the rain we desperately needed for NE Ohio. I think Mother Nature knew that was the way The Cure was meant to be experienced.  Prior to show time I was up at the table with some co workers and had the pleasure of meeting so many people from different states and great listeners! Enjoy these photos of myself and Maya, Amy and Steve and Walt!  With a few lightning strikes and…
