Hey we know her! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Brady Marks is a fifth-generation Northeast Ohioan and the morning show co-host and Program Director at 1073 ALT CLE. Her love for broadcasting began at Oberlin College, where she hosted her first radio show while studying political science and discovering a passion for storytelling, music, and community connection. Outside the studio, she is also a painter with a deep appreciation for the arts.
After living in San Francisco and Philadelphia, Brady returned home to Akron during the pandemic, ready to pursue radio more seriously. She joined the local media world in June 2021 as a street team member for 107.3 and got her first real taste of adult format radio. When the station relaunched as Alternative Cleveland in January 2022, she stepped behind the mic as a weekend DJ. Within months she moved into a midday role, and within two years she rose to Assistant Program Director.
Brady quickly became known for her upbeat on-air style, honest storytelling, and natural chemistry with fellow host Ryan Lang, especially during their popular morning cross talk segments. When Ryan stepped away from radio, Brady took over the morning show on January 2, 2024. She still approaches each broadcast with humility and often admits she gets a little nervous before she goes live, which she views as a sign that the work continues to matter. In 2025 she became Program Director of 107.3, part of Rubber City Radio Group, an independently owned cluster of four stations led by Tom Mandel. As both PD and co-host, she focuses on local engagement, new music discovery, and supporting listeners through the early morning grind. Her current partner, Aaron Lux, brings a complementary energy to a show shaped around positivity, authenticity, and a strong sense of community.
Brady Marks Radio remains deeply connected to Northeast Ohio and uses her platform to support causes that strengthen the region, including local arts, community wellness, and organizations addressing food insecurity and youth opportunity. She brings a relatable and grounded presence to Cleveland radio that is shaped by real-world experience and energized by the people who start their mornings with her voice. As it was clear during the time I interviewed her at Noble Beast in Downtown Cleveland, she carries a genuine love for everything about Northeast Ohio, and that devotion is reflected in every broadcast she shares with the community she proudly calls home. ...
